ODOT/Valley, No. Coast: The far left lane of OR 126, between 5th Street and Mohawk Blvd. in Springfield is now open. Asphalt applied overnight Tuesday began unraveling this morning. The loose asphalt has been swept and collected and other asphalt has been scraped off the road surface. ODOT crews will grind the remaining asphalt and apply new surfacing beginning tomorrow night. Work may need to continue early next week. UPDATE
