GRESHAM POLICE TO ACCEPT UNWANTED PRESCRIPTION MEDICINE

On Saturday September 25, 2010 between 1 pm and 5 pm the Gresham Police Department along with the DEA will be accepting unwanted prescription medications from the public at 1333 NW Eastman Parkway. Pills and liquid medications must be in their original prescription containers. Citizens will dump pills into collection bags retaining the bottle. Liquid medications shall stay in the original bottle and thrown into the collection bag. The program is anonymous and personal information will not be taken.

We will NOT accept needles, illegal drugs, intravenous solutions or injectables.
