ATTEMPTED ROBBER APPREHENDED BY CLARK COUNTY

On 09/03/2010 at approximately 1957 hours deputies with the Clark County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to 1503 NE 78th St, Izzy's Pizza, on a strong armed robbery. They responded to a call of a Black male that had run up to the victim and demanded money. Fearing for her safety the victim pulled a 9mm from her waist and displayed the firearm to the suspect. The would be robber ran the other direction once he saw the weapon. Deputies located the black male a short time later where he was positively identified by the victim. The suspect was identified as Wilbur Haisley from Seattle, WA. He was placed under arrest for attempted robbery and booked into the Clark County Law Enforcement Center. The victim had a legal concealed weapons permit and will not be facing any charges.
