ODOT/Valley, No. Coast: ODOT will raise the US 101 Siuslaw River Bridge in Florence this morning between 8:30 a.m. and 10 a.m. Due to an equipment failure yesterday, the raising and lowering of the bridge will be done manually. Motorists should plan on an extended delay while the bridge is lifted and lowered. The communities of Florence and Dunes City should anticipate an increase in vehicle congestion. ODOT will update this release when the highway is closed and when it reopens.
