STALKER SENTENCED IN OREGON CITY CASE.

48 year old Lawrence Michael Capri III was sentenced today to 54 months in an Oregon State Correctional facility following a guilty plea.
Mr. Capri repeatedly engaged the victim, his ex-wife, in repeated and unwanted contact which was threatening in nature. Mr. Capri then fled the State and was captured by the U.S. Marshall's Service Fugitive Task Force while he was in hiding in Colorado. While in a Colorado correctional facility Mr. Capri continued his attempts to contact the victim using the facility inmate phone system. Mr. Capri was extradited to Clackamas County to face charges of Violating a Stalking Citation. Mr. Capri had been involved with the victim for 15 years.
Mr. Capri repeatedly threatened the victim via text and voice mail messages and at one point telephoned and threatened the Clackamas County District Attorney then assigned to the case while he was in hiding in Colorado. Mr. Capri's guilty plea concludes a 6 month investigation involving the Oregon City Police Department and the U.S. Marshall's Service Fugitive Task Force.
