POLICE INVESTIGATE SUSPICIOUS ITEMS FOUND INSIDE HOME IN MILWAUKIE

On 02-11-10 at about 2:30 p.m. a Clackamas County Civil Deputy requested assistance from Milwaukie Police related to a home visit in the 11000 block of SE 54th Place in Milwaukie, Oregon.
Police identified suspicious items inside the residence that required further evaluation by explosive experts. Portland Police bomb squad assisted with the investigation. The Clackamas County Fire Department was staged in the area on stand-by.
As a precaution, residents (approx. 10 homes)were evacuated and streets in the area closed to vehicular traffic.
Ryan Casey Williamson (DOB 05-11-81) and Geoffrey Nathan Williamson (DOB 02-12-90) were arrested on unrelated charges of Probation Violation and transported to the Clackamas County Jail. Ryan is currently on probation for Escape II, and Geoffrey is on probation for ID Theft.
The investigation is continuing.
