PAIR ARRESTED IN METAL THEFT

Sherwood Police arrested two men early Saturday morning for the theft of a catalytic converter from a U-Haul dealership. Gary Patrick Gillenwater, 51 years of age, of Hillsboro and Richard William Walden Jr, 48 years of age, of Aloha were taken into custody without incident. Both were charged with Theft Second Degree and Criminal Mischief First Degree. The theft of catalytic converters has been an has become a target of metal thieves. Both men were lodged at the Washington County Jail in lieu of bail.
