MILWAUKIE POLICE AND PROVIDENCE MILWAUKIE HOSPITAL TO HOST PRESCRIPTION DRUG DISPOSAL EVENT ON APRIL 10 2010

In partnership with the pharmacy team from Providence Milwaukie Hospital, The Milwaukie Police Department will host a prescription drug turn-in day. Designed to raise awareness of the abuse of prescription drugs, and to keep potentially dangerous drugs out of landfills and waterways, the event will allow citizens to anonymously drop off unneeded or expired prescription drugs for safe disposal. The event will be held Saturday, April 10, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Milwaukie Public Safety Building, 3200 SE Harrison Street, in Milwaukie. This event is part of Providence Milwaukie Hospital's Community Health in Motion Program.
