Three subjects dressed as Ninjas forced their way into a residence in the 2200 block of St. Moritz Loop in West Linn where they tied up the female resident for several hours while the suspects ransacked the home. Upon the arrival of her husband, several hours later, the suspects forced him to accompany them to his jewelry store which they then cleaned out. The suspects brought the man home, and tied him up before leaving in his 1999 BMW 320i, OR License WRY139.
The suspects forced the victim, Rick Rogoway to drive them to his store at 13033 SE 84th Ave. Clackamas, OR. An unknown amount of jewelry was stolen from the store. Mr. Rogoway was then brought him where he was tied up. The suspects fled in his car. Mr. and Mrs. Rogoway were able to get free and called 9-1-1 from a neighbor's home at 9:34 P.M.
"This was a targeted attack on this family and business" said Sgt. Neil Hennelly, a West Linn Police spokesperson, "This was not random at all."
