Preliminary information indicates at approximately 9:15 p.m. a report was received that a woman was seen falling out of the passenger side of a pickup driving westbound in the area. The woman reportedly was run over by the pickup as it continued westbound without stopping. A short time later an OSP trooper stopped the pickup near milepost 29 east of Sandy and has detained two occupants.
The westbound lanes are closed and ODOT is on scene helping traffic get through the area using the eastbound lanes.
OSP troopers and Clackamas County deputies are on scene. OSP detectives are enroute to assist with the investigation.
No more information is anticipated to be released tonight. An update will be released Friday before 12 noon. UPDATE
