ARMED ROBBERY AT HOTEL IN CLARK COUNTY

Armed Robbery in Clark County

On December 31st at approximately 3:30 AM Clark County Sheriff's Office Deputies responded to a robbery at the Quality Inn and Suites, located at 7001 NE Highway 99, in the Hazel Dell area of Clark County. When deputies arrived they contacted the hotel employee who had been sitting at the front desk area of the hotel when the suspect walked in. The suspect was pointing a stainless steel semi automatic handgun and demanded money be put in a large black vinyl bag that the suspect was carrying. The suspect then exited the hotel's front doors and was last seen on foot fleeing southbound on Highway 99 from the driveway of the hotel. There was no vehicle seen associated with the suspect. Deputies attempted a K9 track but were unsuccessful at finding the suspect. Approximately $180 dollars in bills was taken.
The suspect is described as:
Black female, approximately 5'10" to 6'00" tall, about 170lbs, wearing a black jacket with black hood; royal blue colored gloves; black pants; black tennis shoes with white trimming around the bottom outside edges and white shoe laces. She was wearing sunglasses and had a round face with pudgy cheeks.
This investigation is on going and being conducted by the Clark County Sheriff's Office Tactical Detective Unit.
