SEX EXPOSER RESCUED BY POLICE AFTER FALLING INTO THE WILLAMETTE RIVER (PHOTO)

On August 2, 2014 at about 2:17 pm, the Oregon City Police Department received a call of a naked adult male masturbating in public view on the cliff bank of the Willamette River near the Oregon City/West Linn Bridge on the Oregon City side of the river. Patrol Officers located the man who was later identified as 31 year old Ernest Michael Kirk. Mr. Kirk was naked and sitting on the edge of the cliff bank about 75 feet below. He was just a few feet from the water. He appeared to be under th e influence of some type controlled substance. Mr. Kirk continued to masturbate in front of police officers on scene for several minutes, while they requested assistance from the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office Marine Unit.
Oregon City Police Officers and Marine Deputies from the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office used a Sheriff's boat to contact Mr. Kirk. Mr. Kirk fell into the river and was rescued by Oregon City Police Officers and Deputies from the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office Marine unit. Mr. Kirk was pulled onto the boat and taken to a Portland area hospital for medical evaluation.
On August 4, 2014 at about 12:12 pm, Mr. Kirk was located and arrested by Oregon City Police Officers at the Clackamette Park in Oregon City, Oregon. Ernest Michael Kirk was booked into the Clackamas County Jail for Felony Public Indecency, Harassment, and a parole violation out of Clackamas County.
