BEAVERTON CITY LIBRARY HOSTS FREE EVENTS FOR TEENS AND KIDS THIS SPRING BREAK

The Beaverton City Library invites kids and teens to attend 16 free events during spring break, Saturday, March 23 through Saturday, March 30. Some events require registration.
"Our library staff have some great activities lined up," said Mayor Denny Doyle. "From crafts to movies, these events offer kids and teens a safe place to have some fun over spring break."
Children's events include:
* Spring Crafts (ages 2-10 years old with an adult)
Saturday, March 23 from 1-2 p.m.
* Fairy Tale Family Storytime (ages infant-11 years old with family)
Sunday, March 24 from 1:15-1:45 p.m.
* Mask Making with Sarah Fagan (registration required)
Monday, March 25 from 10:30-11:30 a.m. for grades K-12 and 11:45-12:45 p.m. for grades 3-5
* Fairy Tale Themed Family Movies (ages 3-12 years old with family)
Monday, March 25 and Wednesday, March 27 from 2-4 p.m.
* Fairy Tale Crafts (ages 2-12 years old with family, registration required)
Tuesday, March 26 from 1-2 p.m.
* Bunny Babies (ages infant-6 years old with family)
Thursday, March 28 from 10:30-11:30 a.m.
* Fractured Fairy Tale Storytime (ages 4-12 years old with family)
Thursday, March 28 from 3-3:30 p.m.
* Fairy Tale Playtime (ages 2-8 years old with family, registration required)
Friday, March 29 from 2-3 p.m.
* ¡Hablamos! Talk and Craft (grades K-5, registration required)
Saturday, March 30 from 3-4 p.m.
All teen events are for grades 6-12 and include:
* Super Smash Bros. Brawl--Spring Break Tournament
Saturday, March 23 from 2:30-4:30 p.m.
* Teen Jeopardy: Fairy Tales with a Twist
Monday, March 25 from 3-4:30 p.m.
* Teen Video and Writing Lab: Fractured Fairy Tales
Tuesday, March 26 from 3-4:30 p.m.
* Fairy Tale Battles
Wednesday, March 27 from 3-4:30 p.m.
* Magic: The Gathering and Yu-Gi-Oh Tournament for Teens
Thursday, March 28 from 3-5 p.m.
* Fairy Tales Movie for Teens
Friday, March 29 at 3 p.m.
