Posted: February 7th, 2012 9:29 AM

Early on the morning of February 6 police were notified of numerous acts of vandalism in Lake Oswego to include tires being slashed and cars and homes being spray painted. These incidents occurred in two different neighborhoods of the city. Damage was also done a school in the area. The suspects also attempted to start a fire at one of the locations.

Late yesterday afternoon, Monday February 6, Lake Oswego Police Detectives arrested two juveniles who claimed responsibility for these incidents. Arrested were Grant Mackintosh and Sydney Heitman-Allen, both 16 years of age. Both are residents of Lake Oswego and were taken to the Donald E. Long Detention Center in Portland. Both will be charged with a number of counts of Criminal Mischief in the first degree and Attempted Arson in the first degree. All are felony counts.

The investigation is continuing in this case as well as the other vandalism cases of last week where a number of vehicle windows were shot out in Lake Oswego and Southwest Portland. Any information in either of these case would be appreciated.
