Full Details

Late Saturday night, Beaverton Police responded to a robbery of a Pizza Hut driver. Once they made contact with the victim, they learned the robbery took place at the Chateau Hills Apartments in unincorporated Washington County. The responding Washington County deputy learned that the pizza deliveryman had just made a pizza delivery at the apartment. As he returned to his vehicle, a man told him to empty his pockets.

The delivery driver reported that he turned around and saw a man holding a handgun. He gave the robber all of his cash. The robber then opened the car door and took the victims cell phone and GPS unit. He then fled the scene. The delivery driver feared the robber might return, so he returned to the Pizza Hut store located at 4105 SW 117 Avenue Beaverton, before calling the police.

Deputies returned to the apartment complex, but they were not able to locate the suspect. The Washington County Sheriffs Office is seeking the public's help. The suspect is a black male in his late twenties, about 5' 10" with short black hair, scruffy facial hair and brown eyes. He was reported to be wearing a grey sweatshirt, dark blue jeans and black shoes.

The investigation is on going and no additional information is available. If anyone has information about the incident, they are asked to call the Washington County Sheriff's Office at 503-629-0111
