Clackamas Fire Dist. #1: At 12:30am Clackamas Fire responded to a gas leak at 4105 international Way Milwaukie. A contractor had hit a gas line with heavy equipment while digging. Engine 2, Truck 4 and Battalion 2 responded. Additional units were dispatched to help with the evacuation of employees at the surrounding businesses. NW Natural gas were in the area so the line was shut down quickly. 30-40 people were evacuated from three separate businesses for 30-40 minutes and no injuries were reported.
remember that if there is an emergency in your place of work or a business you are visiting to evacuate the area as quickly as possible. Leave your belonging and get out.
