PORTLAND PARKS BOARD MEETS AT ST. JOHNS COMMUNITY CENTER ON WEDNESDAY, APRIL 6

What: Portland Parks Board meeting
When: Wednesday, April 6, 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Where: Auditorium, St. Johns Community Center, 8427 N. Central
The public is invited to join the Portland Parks Board and Portland Parks & Recreation (PP&R) staff in the discussion of several important agenda items, including:
* PP&R FY 2011-2012 budget
* Sullivan's Gulch Trail
* Willamette Park pump station
* Introduction of new PP&R staff members: Mike Abbaté, Asset Manager, and Art Hendricks, Security Manager
Parks 2020 Vision: Visualizing the Legacy, a special presentation on major goals areas for PP&R, focusing on current projects and initiatives, will be led by Planning Manager Brett Horner. An opportunity for comments from the community will follow.
The Portland Parks Board has designated one to two meetings each year to be held in the evenings and at different locations around Portland to encourage more participation by the public.
