**********************************************************************************************
On Friday morning, March 25, 201l Wilsonville Police arrested and lodged 20-year-old Brett Allen Howe in the Clackamas County Jail with criminal charges identified as:

- Sexual Abuse II,
- Two counts of Sexual Abuse III
- And two additional counts of Contributing to the Sexual delinquency of a Minor.

It is alleged that Brett Howe engaged in sexual contact with a female under the age of 18.

Brett Howe was previously reported in 2010 to have engaged in a sexual relationship with a female under the age of 16; however, that particular 16-year-old female victim did not disclose any sexual contact with Howe when initially interviewed by investigators.

The detective assigned the investigation is concerned Brett Howe has been contacting under-age girls on the Internet through social networking sites, such as Facebook.

Howe is also believed to have made prior attempts to befriend young girls, and attempt to establish a relationship as boyfriend/girlfriend with these online connections. Brett Howe has reportedly misrepresented his 20-year-old age to numerous persons on the internet in order to perhaps appear potentially more appealing and acceptable to these unsuspecting females, and their parents.

As a result of learning about this pattern of behavior conducted by Howe, the investigating Wilsonville detective is concerned additional underage victim females remain unidentified. The detective is encouraging anyone who has information related to Brett Howe and his suspected criminal acts, to please come forward and contact the Wilsonville Police Detective, Jeff Green, who is presently pursuing the ongoing criminal investigation.

Brett Howe is known to have contacts in the Wilsonville area where he resides, and in the Sherwood area where he is employed.

Brett Allen Howe is scheduled for arraignment on this matter in Clackamas County Circuit Court, Monday (Today), March 28, 2011 at 3:00 p.m.
