On Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at 11:05 a.m. the U.S. Bank, located at 11333 SE 82nd Avenue, in Clackamas County was robbed by an adult male, who approached the on duty bank teller and demanded money. No visible weapon or physical injuries were reported.

Witnesses to the robbery event watched the male robbery subject exit the bank and enter an automobile in close proximity to the bank. Witness information was ultimately conveyed to Clackamas County 911 Dispatchers, which enabled responding Clackamas County Patrol Deputies and Oregon State Police Troopers to intercept and arrest - without incident - the bank robbery suspect.

The bank robbery suspect was apprehended in less than 5-minutes, thanks to the persistent keen eyes of an involved witness who called dispatchers with his ongoing observations.

The suspect was apprehended close to the bank in the vicinity of the Winco parking lot, also on SE 82nd Avenue.

The bank robbery suspect in custody is identified as Cameron Joseph Carr, 30, of California. It has been confirmed Cameron Carr is considered a fugitive from California with two arrest warrants in Santa Clara County, California. The two fugitive warrants are identified as:

- Violation of a protection order / with a prior offense
- Inflicting corporal injury

Clackamas County Sheriff's Office investigators are interviewing the suspect; processing the scene, conducting the follow-up investigation and preparing the investigative case file to be presented to the United States Attorney's Office in Portland for consideration of prosecution.

Cameron Carr was taken into custody and lodged in Portland with a U.S. Marshall's bank robbery hold, in addition to the identified fugitive warrants that exist in California.
