TUESDAY MORNING MEDIA BRIEFING IN WALDPORT REGARDING SEARCH FOR POLICE SHOOTING SUSPECT

Newport Police Chief Mark Miranda will be holding a media briefing today, January 25, at 11:15 a.m. at the Waldport Community Learning Center located near the intersection of Highway 34 and Bay Street east of Waldport City Hall.
Chief Miranda and OSP Lieutenant Gregg Hastings will update media in the Waldport area about the continuing search for the suspect DAVID ANTHONY DURHAM, age 43, wanted in connection with Sunday night's shooting of Lincoln City Police Officer Steven B. Dodds.
No other information to be released provided prior to the briefing. A news release will be sent to media following the briefing.
