ODOT/Valley, No. Coast: Highway 6 (Wilson River Highway) will remain closed at least until late today or early tomorrow as the clean up continues after a large slide closed the highway at milepost 6.2 early Sunday during two days of heavy rain. In addition to the cleanup, utility companies will be working on power and phone lines that were damaged, and ODOT must first assess the slope stability before the road is opened. The best alternative routes continue to be U.S. 26 and Highway 18. UPDATE
