ODOT/Valley, No. Coast: Highway 6 (Wilson River Highway) will remain closed tonight so ODOT staff can continue to monitor any additional slide activity. The clean up went well today after a large slide closed the highway at milepost 6.2 early Sunday during two days of heavy rain. Utility companies are still assessing damage to power and phone lines that were damaged. ODOT will re-evaluate the slide in the morning and determine whether the road can be opened later on Wednesday. The best alternative routes continue to be U.S. 26 and Highway 18.
