INJURY TRAFFIC CRASH - HIGHWAY 99E NORTH OF CANBY

Three adults and one child received non-life threatening injuries Friday afternoon in a two vehicle crash at the intersection of Highway 99E at E. Territorial Road north of Canby.
On January 21, 2011 at approximately 4:13 p.m. a 2002 Kia sport utility vehicle driven by MEREDITH PAEPER, age 33, from Hubbard, was northbound on Highway 99E in the left lane when it failed to stop for a red stop traffic signal. The Kia crashed into the side of a 2002 Buick sport utility vehicle driven by MARIA CARDENAS, age 47, from Canby as it was crossing the intersection from east to west.
PAEPER was alone in her vehicle and wasn't injured.
The Buick was occupied by 3 adults and three children. CARDENAS, two adult passengers and a 9-year boy passenger were transported to area hospitals with non-life threatening injuries. The other two child passengers were not transported for treatment. Names and ages of the other passengers are not available.
PAEPER was cited by OSP for Failure to Obey a Traffic Control Device.
OSP was assisted at the scene by Clackamas County Sheriff's Office, Canby Police Department, Canby Fire Department, Molalla Fire Department, AMR ambulance, and ODOT.
