On Monday, January 17, 2011 at 7:40 p.m. an additional armed robbery event was reported at the Holly Farm Mall, Big Lots Store, located at 16074 SE McLoughlin Boulevard, #8, in the (unincorporated) Oak Grove neighborhood of Milwaukie. This armed male suspect is reported to have fled southbound from the scene of the crime and no injuries have been reported.

Clackamas County Sheriff's Patrol Deputies converged swiftly onto the scene in search of this robbery suspect; who was reported by witnesses to have fled this business on foot and was last observed by witnesses moving in a southerly direction along SE McLoughlin Boulevard.

A Clackamas County Sheriff's Office K-9 team also responded to the scene of this crime in an effort to help track the fleeing suspect. All immediate search efforts by responding Sheriff's Deputies failed in locating this armed robbery suspect during this search and containment effort.

This was the second armed robbery to have occurred this evening in Clackamas County. Previously at 6:06 p.m. an additional armed robbery was reported at a coffee shop on SE Sunnyside, in Clackamas (CCSO #11-1733).

This most recent -- Big Lot robbery suspect -- is described as a:

- White male adult
- 40-50 years of age
- 5'06" tall
- 150 lbs, with a medium build
- Unshaven, with blue eyes

This suspect was described further to be wearing a royal blue colored jacket, a gray knit colored hat and light colored trousers.

This suspect is reported to have demanded money from the victim employee while armed with a handgun.

An armed robbery, a robbery in the first-degree, is considered a Measure Eleven type felony crime in the State of Oregon.

This armed robbery event will be forwarded to the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office Detectives Division for further investigation.
