VANCOUVER POLICE INVESTIGATE STABBING

On August 5, 2010 at approximately 3:25 a.m. Vancouver Police responded to the report of a stabbing in the 2000 block of Brandt Rd. When officers arrived they found a juvenile male in the road that had been stabbed. The victim was transported to an area hospital for evaluation and treatment of his injuries which appeared to be non-life threatening.
Limited information was obtained at the scene due to the medical treatment being provided to the victim and nearby bystanders also had limited information. No suspect information is available at this time.
This case has been referred to Vancouver Police Investigations for follow up.
