Vancouver Police Activities League Hosts End of the School Year Literacy Event

VANCOUVER POLICE ACTIVITIES LEAGUE HOSTS END OF THE SCHOOL YEAR LITERACY EVENT

The Vancouver Police Activities League (PAL) is hosting an end of the year literacy event to encourage kids to keep reading over the summer.

Date: Wednesday, June 16, 2010

Time: 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Location: Sarah J. Anderson Elementary school
2215 NE 104th St, Vancouver WA

This event will provide free books to 145 kids and the Vancouver Police Department will have some specialty units at the school for the kids to see. (SWAT, Motors, K9).

Vancouver PAL hosts a variety of year around activities for youth as part of our effort to connect kids, cops and community. For more information on Vancouver PAL visit the Vancouver Police Department website at www.vanpolice.org.
