SEATTLE MAN ARRESTED FOR DRUG POSSESSION FOLLOWING TRAFFIC STOP.

On Saturday, June 5th about 1:23 PM a State Trooper from the Salem Area Command stopped a 2000 Ford Crown Victoria for exceeding the speed limit. The Trooper observed signs of impairment and, after further investigation, the driver, Joel Jeffries, 28, of Seattle Wa., was subsequently arrested for DUII-Controlled Substance. Further investigation led to the discovery of over an ounce of Marijuana, MDMA (Ecstacy), scales, and over $6,000 in cash.
Joel Jeffries was transported to the Marion County jail where he was cited for DUII-CS, PCS-1 (Marijuana), PCS-1 (MDMA), DCS-1 (Marijuana), and Driving Uninsured.
