On Thursday, June 10, 2010, at approximately 6:30 p.m., two Hispanic males entered an electronics store in Wilsonville and proceeded to steal a large amount of valuable electronic merchandise.

These two men worked together and were described by Loss Prevention Officers to be deliberate in their actions while loading their shopping carts with selected items of value described as: a car stereo system; an HP computer; IPod touch and IPod speaker docks; Xbox accessories; PS-3 console and PS-3 video games.

At approximately 7:38 p.m., the two men pushed the loaded shopping carts outside the business using an entrance door; avoiding the cashiers and appropriate exit doors. Loss Prevention Officers immediately confronted the subjects outside this place of business with the stolen merchandise.

At this point of engagement, both suspects pulled out a knife with a blade estimated to be 6" long. The older of the two suspects (Suspect #2) was reported to be especially aggressive and attempted to stab one of the Loss Prevention Officers in the chest during this confrontation. Fortunately, no injuries were reported during this occasion. This armed and threatening event elevated this shoplifting incident to a significantly more serious criminal offense classified as a robbery in the first-degree.

These armed robbery suspects were able to keep the Loss Prevention Officers at bay while the stolen merchandise was brazenly removed from the shopping carts and placed into the suspect vehicle. The suspect automobile is described as a:

• Dark green, 4-door, Kia Spectra – with the rear license plate removed.

Suspect #1: Hispanic male, mid-teens to early-20s, 5'6" to 5'7 " tall, with a slender to medium build. He has short, dark brown hair and was clean-shaven. This suspect is featured in the surveillance image wearing a blue and white checked jacket, dark blue jeans, and white Adidas shoes. (Photo Attached)

Subject #2: Hispanic male, late-teens to late-20s, 5'8" to 5'9" with a slender to medium build. He has short, dark hair. This suspect is featured in the store security images wearing a white zip-up jacket without a hood. The jacket may have two black pinstripes running the length of each sleeve. His jeans were dirty and worn; and wearing white shoes. (Photo Attached)
