SIX INJURED IN SINGLE VEHICLE CRASH - HIGHWAY 20 EAST OF TOLEDO (PHOTOS)

Six people were injured Tuesday night in a single vehicle rollover crash along Highway 20 east of Toledo. Oregon State Police (OSP) is completing the investigation after cited the driver related to the crash.
According to Trooper Michael Hansen, on January 1, 2013 at approximately 7:45 p.m., a 2002 Toyota Tundra pickup driven by QUAN LIEN, age 55, from Newport, was westbound on Highway 20 near milepost 17 negotiating a curve when it traveled onto the shoulder. The driver lost control, over-corrected across the highway and the pickup rolled onto its stop coming to a rest blocking the westbound lane.
The pickup's six occupants, 4 adults and 2 small children, were all transported by ambulance to Samaritan Pacific Communities Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. The other adults were identified as LINH LIEN, age 55; HECTOR LOPEZ, age 31; and, ELVIA ZARATE, age 28. All are from Newport and were using safety restraints.
LIEN was cited by OSP for Fail to Drive Within Lane.
Lincoln County Sheriff's Office, Toledo Fire Department and PacWest Ambulance assisted at the scene. The highway was blocked about 90 minutes.
