ODOT: Valley, No. Coast: OR 228 (Halsey-Sweet Home Hwy.) is closed in Sweet Home at the request of law enforcement. A detour is in place. Eastbound motorists will be directed to Evergreen, then to Meadowlark, then to Osage and onto US 20. Westbound motorists will be directed to 1st Avenue then to US 20. Motorists should plan on a lengthy closure.
