UPDATE ON VICTIM AND KAYAK RECOVERED FROM COLUMBIA RIVER

Vancouver Police, working with the assistance of several other agencies, have identified two individuals who are presently unaccounted for and presumed to be associated with the kayak and deceased female who were located in the Columbia River on 12-28-2012. A vehicle owned by one of these individuals has been located in Oregon at a location where people frequently launch kayaks. A yellow kayak owned by one of these individuals is missing from their residence. At this time no positive identification can be made pending further investigation and notification of next of kin.
