MILWAUKIE POLICE INVESTIGATING SUSPICIOUS DEATH

Milwaukie Police Investigating Suspicious Death
At about noon today Milwaukie Police began a death investigation at a residence in the 2800 block of SE Monroe Street, in Milwaukie. The death is being deemed suspicious in nature, but as the investigation is in its early stages, no additional information is being released at this time. The Clackamas County Medical Examiner's Office is assisting with the investigation. The Clackamas County Major Crimes Team is also assisting.
As soon as more information is made available, a press release will be forwarded to media. SE Monroe Street in Milwaukie between 28th and 29th Avenues is temporarily closed and traffic is being detoured around the closure.
