Milwaukie Police Detectives, with assistance from the Portland Police Bureau, effected a late-night arrest in the death of 63-year-old Donna Irene Tennant, who lived at 2817 SE Monroe Street, in Milwaukie. The 17-year-old grandson, Andrew T. Johnson (DOB 11-25-95), who resided with Tennant in the Milwaukie home, has been implicated in the death of Tennant.

At noon yesterday, Milwaukie police detectives, with assistance from the Clackamas County Major Crimes Team, and the Clackamas County Medical Examiner's Office, were investigating a suspicious death inside the Milwaukie home. Information obtained through the criminal investigation resulted in a late-night arrest of the grandson, who was located near Jantzen Beach in North Portland. The 17-year-old is being transported to the Clackamas County Jail where he will be booked on a Measure 11 criminal charge of Aggravated Murder.

Results of the criminal investigation will be forwarded to the Clackamas County District Attorney's Office.
