ODOT: Valley, No. Coast: U.S. 26 is now open between U.S. 101 and milepost 10 after a number of downed trees and power lines had closed that section of roadway since early this morning. ODOT officials in Clatsop County are still requesting that motorists postpone or delay travel on coastal corridors that have been impacted by downed trees, debris and high standing water for a few more hours or until the major weather system subsides.
U.S. 101 is restricted to only high profile vehicles south of Seaside because of high water, and the Astoria Megler Bridge remains closed following a tipped chip truck. Downed trees and power lines continue to be reported on most coastal roads. UPDATE
