ODOT: Valley, No. Coast: OR 126W (Florence-Eugene Hwy.) remains closed at milepost 24, between Walton and Mapleton in Lane County due to a landslide that covered the road yesterday. A contractor for ODOT will begin clearing the slide this morning. In addition, ODOT will be making temporary repairs to pavement damaged by the slide. The highway could reopen as early as this afternoon. Meantime, a detour remains in place using OR 36 and Poodle Creek Road.
