WHAT: Portland Parks & Recreation's 2012 Festival of the Birds!
WHEN: Saturday, May 12, 9am-2pm
WHERE: Sellwood Park, SE 7th Ave & Miller St
NOTES: FREE for mom and for all. Portland Parks & Recreation's (PP&R's) Sellwood Park and neighboring Oaks Bottom Wildlife Refuge (plus other natural areas in Portland) are important to migrating birds for refueling, resting and nesting. Learn about our local birds, take guided educational walks, do arts & crafts, games and kid/family activities. Local musicians and international dancers perform. Enjoy a photography exhibit, interactive displays, free raffle and much more!

WHAT: Mother's Day Plant Show and Sale

Roll or run at your own pace, or take advantage of PP&R Senior Recreation and their seven 3-wheeled recumbent bikes on hand!.
Pre-registered rides available for those 55 or older, as well as drop-in ride opportunities.
